Oy---vay maybe I should have updated this sooner.

I admit that I have neglected this for way tooooo long. So here goes, lets see what has happened since this was last updated?? Oh yes, the northman has bred, be afraid be very afraid, our son has both of our sense of humor. About the little red headed barbarian, he weighed 7 pound and 14 ounces, was 21 inches long and was born 7/7/07. He was born very healthy and possessive, as soon as they finished delivering him, he peed all over his momma when they laid him on her chest. We both thought that this was hysterical. Yes I watched the whole thing, his little head crowning and all, after seeing that, I wonder how the human race has lasted so long, it looks like IT REALLY, REALLY, REALLY HURTS..... A LOT.

The baby barbarian is the most amazing little guy. He mumbles a lot, some of it sounds like he is saying ammma. When he is upset and wants his momma he screams meeah (momma), when he is made at her he screams na meeah (not momma). He loves music, and wiggling to the beat. As soon as I figure out how to link pictures I will post some.

This is all for now.

Well it is a new year and we have been sooooooo busy I have not really updated this in a while. Allow me to apologize and bring everyone up to date.
Let's start with October. We actually celebrated our sixth month wedding anniversary. (Trust me neither of our support circles or giggles of friends could believe it either.) The coolest gift we got for each other was a positive result on our pregnancy test. We found out we were preggers on our anniversary which was the 29th both of us were ecstatic.
November came and went. Turkey day was interesting I cooked for his family and even they even managed to eat without getting sick. The North man and I were entirely thankful for True.com the computer company that is responsible for us being together in the first place. This was the first Thanksgiving that I had where there was no big family fight and I did not come away feeling hurt from someone fighting with me. It is true I did feel exhausted from cooking and that is a good thing.
December came. This is a very stressful month for me normally. We will start with the good news. Mom and Dad found my bells. I had this really silly little automated Christmas thingy with these mice that stand on drums and have bells on either side of them and they turn a 1/4 turn and hit these bells with a little mallet. They played 30 songs. I was upset because I could not find mine. Well thankfully Mom and Dad Northman found me another set although they are not mice they are men it is still what I wanted. My Birthday was not a good day. I went into labor and lost our baby. (this was my 5th miscarriage yes I had four before I was married to the love of my life) The doctors are now curious as to why this happened. Christmas came and we were still struggling due to the loss of the baby but, we tried to have a good day. I got the mad norseman some chainmail and for his savage wife he came with the gift of music. (A keyboard that has keys which light up to tell one which note to play next. A stand and an electrical adaptor so I don't have to worry about the batteries running down.) New year's eve we spent at the barony Christmas Party and we received some great gifts. I am truly being savage because I am not sending Thank you notes.
January I spent with the doctors lots of lab work to find the explanation for the miscarriages. We found that I have a second genetic anomaly. I am at a higher risk for venal thrombosis (getting blood clots in my veins) and this is responsible for the loss of the baby but I had to wait until February to find what this means as far as future pregnancies. The Norseman spent this month working himself to death and also worried about me because the stress is not good for me not only does it cause migraines but he was terrified that I may snap and attempt to hurt myself. I did have one fight with my psychiatrist when she said that I needed to exercise I told her for fat people exercise is punishment.
Februrary The Norseman got a raise the foreman at the furniture mines finally realized that the mad mans skills are really important to his company's well being. The pregnancy specialist seems like a great guy and he has assured me he will do everything he can to help me stay preggers. This means that I have to have heprin shots everyday after I get with child. I will have to stay around the neighborhood and become the human pin cushion but the norseman and I really want a child. Karma is also a cool thing because we received a 43inch television free from one of my husbands clients.
This last week has been spent with the two of us reaffirming our love vocally and through actions. We are also discussing when we will try to offer tangible proof of our love now that we know how much work will be going into it. He is completely aware of the sacrifices that we both are going to have to make in order to make a child and is willing to do whatever it takes.
We are looking forward to Spring and more time out in the fresh air. As well as the many SCA events we are planning to attend.

What's new

Well the move went as well as could be expected and we both like our little house. The norseman is especially happy because I have started baking again and he really likes the food that is coming out of the kitchen here. I just have to remember that I cannot eat all that I am baking I really do not want to gain all that weigt back.
On Wednesday the 21st we had the barony over for a business meeting. Don played the part of host really well and he loved showing off our backyard. He really does love how large the yard is. (I wonder if he will still love it when he has to mow the whole thing.) I baked a rather large cake for our friend Heinz it was his birthday. The cakepan barely fits in the oven in fact the cake was lopsided because the oven door did not close all the way. Everyone said that it tasted good so that is all that matters. I think the evening went well after everyone found their way here.
On Friday we went out with Terri and Heinz to celebrate their birthdays. So we dressed up and put our best foot forward (mine was in high heeled boots) and drove down to Winfield. We found the place called the Viking. We expected the best and were rather mortified to find several interesting little problems. The scareiest thing that we encountered was the dirty fork that left our table only to be placed on another table. I wonder if it ever found its way to the kitchen. Next Thursday I am going back to sit and discuss things with the manager. For now I recommend that everyone stay far away from the Viking.
We have lots to do today so I really have to go but I will update this soon. Happy reading The Savage

Good News

Well we are happy to announce that we are moving. Horray to a two bedroom house. That means we are also planning a Little bundel of terror for the rest of the world, may you all forgive us. We have been busy lately and are sorry for not updating this sooner but you know it is. I want to let everyone know that we are keeping eachother very happy and we laugh several times a day.
The norseman is working lots of hours and that has its benefits and bad parts. I have been busy as well and am trying to quit smoking (it is not as easy as I would like and the poor viking is getting the short side but, is being really understanding about the whole thing) I really hope that everything gets easier soon for his sake and I am really trying not to be upset by the fact he still gets to smoke his pipe.
Well I know this is short but we are off to an auction with mom and dad and I have to go.

The news of late

Let me start by apologizing for keeping you in the dark so long but the Mad Norseman has been very busy. How do I know this I am the one keeping him that way. Yes believe it or not he got married. I am know as the savage you may have read of me in his last posting.
We have been very busy with our wedding and such. The wedding took place on April 29th and although we winged it, we had lots of fun. For those of you who want the details it was a simple courthouse affair with dinner held at an Old Country Buffet (the reasons behind this choice were I did not have to plan a menu and this way we did not have to buy liqueur for my family. I would still be washing dishes to pay that bill if we had gone a different way.)
We have hit the busy season as far as the SCA goes and that has been fun. My husband the Viking (don't call him that he will be the first to tell you it is a verb not a noun and me running around as a Native Americian. I have yet to meet any others.) Don is responsible for bringing me to this group and I am having lots of fun playing thier game.

This has been a week of both good news and bad news. First the bad news, an old friend of mine has died. Robert Alton Seaman, he was a good friend, my mentor in my lifes work. He was one of the few Christians that I truly respected, he was not a religious man, but rather a righteous man. He lived what he belived, a man of true faith. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace old friend.

Now the good news, I have a new Lady in my life, yes the computer is smarter than I am when it comes to matching peronality. I met Jenn through an nline dating service that matched our personalities, and said that we were such a good match that I should grab her and run . So I did, and I have no regrets about falling for her, my heart will not fail in this endeavor, her favor and honor I will carry until death takes me.

Still nothing much has happened... yet

Well since Annie did not quite work out(she may be smarter thatn we think) I have joined an online dating service... thats right...... I am going to let a freaking computer tell me how I'm compatible with.....

Went and helped with a fighting demo at Blue and Gold Banquet for the Cub Scouts yesterday, did some pounding and got pounded, lots of fun was had by all. Get to do the same this up coming weekend... heh heh heh... lots of fun. The tournement season starts filling up with events at least twice a month till late August for me. Maybe I will win one or two... who knows.. but I'll have lots of fun either way.
