What's new
Well the move went as well as could be expected and we both like our little house. The norseman is especially happy because I have started baking again and he really likes the food that is coming out of the kitchen here. I just have to remember that I cannot eat all that I am baking I really do not want to gain all that weigt back.
On Wednesday the 21st we had the barony over for a business meeting. Don played the part of host really well and he loved showing off our backyard. He really does love how large the yard is. (I wonder if he will still love it when he has to mow the whole thing.) I baked a rather large cake for our friend Heinz it was his birthday. The cakepan barely fits in the oven in fact the cake was lopsided because the oven door did not close all the way. Everyone said that it tasted good so that is all that matters. I think the evening went well after everyone found their way here.
On Friday we went out with Terri and Heinz to celebrate their birthdays. So we dressed up and put our best foot forward (mine was in high heeled boots) and drove down to Winfield. We found the place called the Viking. We expected the best and were rather mortified to find several interesting little problems. The scareiest thing that we encountered was the dirty fork that left our table only to be placed on another table. I wonder if it ever found its way to the kitchen. Next Thursday I am going back to sit and discuss things with the manager. For now I recommend that everyone stay far away from the Viking.
We have lots to do today so I really have to go but I will update this soon. Happy reading The Savage
